Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes. - Carl Jung
As a licensed clinical psychologist, psychotherapist, and teacher, I specialize in mindfulness-based psychotherapy and bridging Eastern and Western approaches to well-being. My collaborative approach to therapy is "strength-based," as opposed to focusing on pathology, and incorporates meditation, bodily awareness, and depth exploration of emotional and relational patterns in service of enhanced relaxation, enjoyment, meaning, and freedom in our daily lives.
I work with adults, couples, and transition-age youth who are seeking support with difficult transitions, relationship and parenting challenges, stress and anxiety, depression and grief, repercussions of traumatic experience, and integrating psychological and spiritual development.
My psychotherapy practice is based in Mill Valley, CA. I also provide intern supervision at the Community Institute for Psychotherapy (CIP) in San Rafael and serve on the adjunct faculty of the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) in San Francisco, where I teach Humanistic and Mindfulness-Based Therapies and Advanced Psychotherapy.
